What is in a birth chart?
Three kinds of things, and each one has a meaning.
Planets
Each planet stands for a part of you. The Sun is your core self. The Moon is your feelings. Mercury is how you think and talk.
Signs
The twelve zodiac signs describe how a planet tends to act. A Moon in Cancer feels things one way; a Moon in Aquarius, another.
Houses
The twelve houses are areas of life: home, work, friends, money, and so on. Where a planet sits shows where that part of you shows up most.
